Very little, most days. Here is an honest picture.

Daily — about a minute, if you feel like it

Open the app, look at Today. Your sleep from last night, your Capacity, your activity so far. Some people will do this every morning with coffee. Others will forget for four days. Both are fine. If you want to log something — you weighed yourself, you had a drink, you are coming down with a cold — that is the + Add button at the top. Each entry takes a few seconds.

Overnight — nothing

Wear whatever you normally wear to bed. The app collects in the background; there is nothing to start or stop. If you use Night Log (off by default), and you are awake at 3am anyway, you can tap once to record that you were up. If you are asleep, nothing happens, which is the intended outcome.

Weekly-ish — thirty seconds

Open Discovery, let it run, tap Send to VT. This is the one thing we will nudge you about, because it is the one thing that is purely for our benefit and therefore the easiest to skip.

When something breaks — two minutes

Screenshot it, send it through TestFlight or the feedback portal, carry on. See Reporting a bug.

What the first two weeks feel like

Honest expectation setting:
The slow start is not the app struggling. Almost everything here is a comparison against your own history, and in week one you do not have one. See Why we read trends, not numbers.
