Everything here is deliberate or already logged. If you spot something on this page, you have found something we know about.
When in doubt, report it anyway — a duplicate costs seconds. This page exists to save you effort, not to discourage you.

Deliberately inert

  • Vitality Score shows nothing. Platform-computed, awaiting a biomarker set that does not sync yet. Explained here.
  • Symptoms opens but stays empty. Same reason.
  • Sleep Debt is never shown. Computed, but its constants are not calibrated.
  • Naps are drawn but never scored. Deferred deliberately.
  • Glucose shows first and last meal only, not individual meals. Per-meal detail arrives with the consumer app.

Device limitations, not app faults

  • Apple Watch shows a dash for Time to Sleep. Apple does not provide it. Permanent.
  • Polar shows no naps, ever. Polar’s service has no place for them.
  • Polar app effort ratings do not arrive. Their interface does not carry them.
  • Fitbit sleep reads better here than in the Fitbit app. The iPhone route drops restless time.
  • Oura is the only source with a Movements strip. Nobody else provides it.

Expected behaviour that looks wrong

  • Sleep differs from Apple’s Health app. We show the Watch alone; Apple blends every source. Deliberate.
  • Sleep scores differ from your device’s own. Different published methods, and the app labels which it is showing.
  • Blank cards in your first two weeks. Baselines need history.
  • Respiratory rate and heart-rate dip blank for a fortnight. Same.
  • SHI showing progress instead of a score. Needs 14 usable nights in 28.
  • Google Health going blank about weekly. Testing-stage access expires. Reconnect.
  • Capacity moving more than you expect. It is in calibration — though a figure that is clearly wrong for an explicable day is worth reporting.

Things that are not bugs at all

  • A gap on a night you did not wear the device. That is data.
  • A build expiring after 90 days. Apple’s rule.
  • The orange dot beside the app name. It means “installed from TestFlight”.

Always worth reporting

  • Crashes
  • Data on the wrong day
  • A figure that cannot be right
  • Something that worked and stopped
  • Two places in the app disagreeing
  • Anything you find confusing — including a page on this site that is wrong or unclear
