What we hold

  • Your health figures, tied to your account, so they survive a lost phone
  • Backups of your local database
  • Discovery reports — the shape of your data, sent when you tap Send to VT

What we look at

Patterns across testers: which devices provide what, how often people wear them, whether our calculations behave sensibly. Not your individual health. Nobody here is reviewing your sleep and forming opinions about it, and we are not qualified to.

What we do not do

  • Sell your data. There is no advertising business here to feed.
  • Share it with third parties for their purposes.
  • Put health data into third-party analytics.

Your control

  • Export. Your data is yours; you can take it out.
  • Backups off. In Settings, if you would rather. A lost phone then means lost history.
  • Delete. Ask, and we delete your account and its data. No reason needed.

Access control

Your data is locked to your account at the database level — not by application logic that could be bypassed, but by a rule the database itself enforces on every read.

Honest caveats

  • This is pre-release software. Built carefully, not audited to the standard a shipping medical product would be.
  • Your wearable’s manufacturer already holds all of this and has its own policies. We read what Apple Health, Oura and Polar already hold.
  • Screenshots you send us through TestFlight show whatever was on screen.

Questions

Ask, through the feedback portal. If something here is unclear, that is worth telling us — an unclear privacy page is a fault like any other.
