The Workbench is iPhone-only in this round. There is no Android build to install. This page exists so you know what is different, and so Android references elsewhere on this site make sense.

What this means for you

If you own an iPhone, everything on this site applies. If you own an Android phone, you cannot take part in this round — even if your wearable is supported. The app is not distributed for Android yet.

Differences that show up in the documentation

The app does run on Android in development, and some pages mention it. The differences worth knowing:

The one that affects your data

Fitbit sleep. On Android, Health Connect carries both “awake” and “restless” time. On iPhone, the Google Health route carries awake only and drops restless. So your Fitbit nights will read slightly better in the Workbench than in the Fitbit app. Not a bug, and worth knowing before you conclude your sleep improved. See Fitbit.

Android-only sources

Health Connect and Samsung Health have pages here for completeness. Neither is reachable from an iPhone.
