+ Add → Hydration.
How it works
One entry per drink, not a daily total. Amount in millilitres, the time, and
optionally what it was.
The kinds
Water, coffee, tea, energy drink, soft drink, other.
The kind is the interesting part. To a hydration total, an energy drink and a
glass of water are identical. To your glucose, they are opposites — and coffee
does things to cortisol that water does not.If you are only going to record one thing accurately, record the kind.
An unrecorded kind stays unrecorded
If you do not say what it was, the app does not guess — and specifically, it
never assumes water.
That may look like pedantry. It is not: assuming water would mean the app
silently inventing a fact about your day, and a hydration total built partly on
assumption is worse than one with an honest gap in it.
Discarding a mis-tap
Logged the wrong thing? You can discard an entry rather than deleting it.
A discarded entry stops counting towards anything, but stays visible. A mis-tap
does not need history rewritten — it needs to stop being counted.
How much to log
However much you can be bothered with. One glass recorded on a day you drank six
is real data. Reconstructing the six is not.
