Opening it

+ Add at the top of any screen. A drawer slides up with the markers listed. Pick one and its own panel opens.

The shared controls

Most markers work the same way, so learning one teaches you the rest.

The time

Every entry has a time, defaulting to now. Tap it to change. The picker is a wheel — spin to the right time. It will not let you pick the future, because you cannot report something that has not happened.

Another day

For logging something from a previous day. Opens a calendar; pick the day, then log as normal. Useful for catching up. Not for reconstructing a week you did not record — that is not what we want.

Today’s entries

Several markers show what you have already recorded today, with the time and value. Each has an edit pencil and a delete bin. Correcting a mis-tap is expected; nothing here is set in stone.

Saving

The tick confirms and the drawer closes.
The tick means it is saved on your phone, not that it reached our servers. Deliberate: your reading is safe the moment it is stored locally, whether or not you have signal. Sending happens quietly in the background, and retries if it fails. You will never be told a reading was not recorded because a server was slow.

Backdating and its effects

Logging something for a past day recalculates the things that depend on it. Adding a meal to Tuesday changes Tuesday’s eating window and the fast around it. The app works out what needs revisiting. You do not have to think about it.

If a marker does not interest you

Ignore it. You will not be nagged, and never using something is useful information.
