What appears here

Things the app needs to tell you that are not urgent enough to interrupt:
  • Detected activities — the app noticed a session no device recorded, and wants to know what it was
  • Questions about your data — something shifted and only you can explain it
  • Reminders — a measurement due, a check worth doing
  • Notices — something changed that affects you

Messages that want an answer

Some are questions, and they stay until answered rather than expiring. That is deliberate. A question that vanishes unanswered has wasted the one chance it had to be useful, and these are usually questions only you can answer — “your readings shifted around then, was something going on?”
Answer honestly or dismiss them. Both are fine. What is not useful is answering what you think we want to hear.

The red dot

Appears on the menu icon and beside the menu row. It clears when you have read what is waiting. If it will not clear, there is probably a message expecting an answer rather than just a read.

Notifications

Some of this can also reach you as a phone notification, if you allowed them at setup. Declining costs you nothing — the messages are still here.
